Why: I took an interest in Amy after seeing her in Catch Me If You Can. She played a small role, but she stole every scene she was in. After I got home, I applied for the fanlisting and got it. I ran it for awhile and no one joined, so I closed it, but I was still a fan. After a couple of years, things with the actress died down. Then I heard she was doing a small film called Junebug and I anxiously awaited it's release. After seeing it I was completely taken aback by Amy's natural talent. She lights up the screen and can literally play any emotion. She got a much deserved Oscar nomination for her brilliant preformance but unfortunately didn't win. She continues to amaze me with her preformances and film choices and I believe she'll be around for many years to come.

Why: Jake Gyllenhaal. No, really. I made my Mom drive me to the city to see Lovely & Amazing to see Jake in Nicole Holofcener's Lovely & Amazing. Not only did I love the movie, but Catherine's preformance really impressed me. I started renting her older movies and was impressed with her acting talent and ability to have chemistry with every actor she works with. She is getting more and more work in Hollywood and people are finally realizing just how great this woman is.

Why: I honestly believe that Leo is one of the best actors working in his age group. He puts 110% of himself into every role that he does and completely trasforms into the characters he plays. The fact that he went from playing the romantic lead in one of the highest grossing blockbusters of all time, to playing a young con artist, to a recluse billionaire, and to a tough undercover cop from South Boston is just amazing to me. He never plays the same character twice. He was also one of my first crushes as a pre-teen in the Romeo & Juliet days *sigh*. Yes, he's beautiful. But also talented and mesmerizing to watch.

Why: It's coming up on three years since I've opened this fansite for Peter making it my longest running. I am probably the most proud because I love him so much. Since seeing him as Chuck Lane in Shattered Glass I've been so impressed with his film choices (okay, he was the only good thing about Flightplan and The Skeleton Key, but let's overlook those, lol) and the diversity of the roles he plays. I also love the fact that he's so unique in his style of acting and that Malkovich-esque voice.. you know who he is with your eyes closed. He's also extremely sexy, down to earth, and is engaged to the coolest girl ever.. the lovely Maggie Gyllenhaal.

PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN WEB

Why: Phil is my rockstar. He is everything *I believe* an actor should be. He has not been affected by Hollywood in any way, shape or form. He's a lovely guy with a friendly personality. He chooses his roles and films carefully, and no matter what he always brings something exciting to the table in every project that he's involved in. His screen presence is electric and he's always really exciting to watch for me. He's been in some of my favorite movies *most of which I own on DVD* and I'm so glad people aren't asking 'who is Philip Seymour Hoffman' anymore. He's one of those actors who managed to stay out of the spotlight for all of these years he's been in the business and continues to do good work with other great actors.

Why: I have been watching ABC's General Hospital on and off (mostly on) for the past eleven or twelve years. I stopped in late-2004 because they replaced an actress that I really loved and the show went nuts on me. These two got me into it again after a year and a half. Julie and Josh have really amazing chemistry together and their characters are perfect for each other.

ADRIANNE PALICKI FAN

Why: I became a die hard fan of Adrianne's after I saw the Pilot for Friday Night Lights. She is the reason (among many others) that I love the show as much as I do. At times while I'm watching the show I'll forget that she's acting. That's how much in character she is as Tyra Collette the entire time. She's enormously talented and charismatic and such a joy to watch.
